Are aluminium bifold doors energy efficient?
Yes. Our aluminium bifold doors use thermally broken profiles and modern glazing to help reduce heat loss. The overall performance depends on the system, configuration, and glazing specification you choose but our triple-glazed range has u-values of 1.0 W/(m²K)
How many panes can I have?
It depends on the system and your opening width. Options range from smaller configurations through to wider multi-pane setups (some systems support up to 7 panes).
Can I have a low threshold?
In many cases, yes. We’ll advise on the right threshold detail for accessibility, weather performance, and your floor build-up.
