Wolfreton Lodge SIP New Build Aluminium Windows and Doors – Kirk Ella, Hull

The Property:

A new build SIP self build house in the village of Kirk Ella on the Western outskirts of Kingston upon Hull.

The Requirement:

Slim, thermally efficient and secure aluminium glazing was required throughout the entire property that would have a designed in MVHR ventilation system installed. A large internal screen with slim frame work was also needed to separate the front entrance hall from the kitchen and main living areas.

The Solution:

We recommended our popular Alitherm  Heritage windows and Heritage doors for all external locations and for a perfect match this was complemented by our versatile Heritage internal screen range for the hall. Due to MVHR technology, trickle vents were not required to any of the external glazing which kept the framework heads as slim as possible in all locations.

The Customer’s Reaction:

‘We used Marlin for windows and steel style doors and internal screens using Alitherm Heritage products on our recent self build project. Marlin are not local to us but provided an excellent service from quotation, advice, redesigns and with very detailed comms throughout. The windows and doors are the talking point of our entire build. Adrian from Marlin said that windows become the eyes of the house and I didn’t forget that – our eyes are simply stunning. Would highly recommend’.
