Sheerline Prestige bi-fold doors are designed to create a smooth transition between your garden and interior space, effectively softening boundaries and enhancing the feeling of openness in your home. No matter the style or configuration you choose, Prestige bi-fold doors will ensure your living space remains bright and welcoming.
Why Choose Sheerline Prestige?
Not all bi-fold doors are created equal. Sheerline Prestige is engineered to outperform traditional aluminium systems in three key areas:
- Slimmer Sightlines, More Glass
With a clean 110mm sash-to-frame sightline (138mm between sashes), Prestige maximises natural light while keeping frames elegant and understated. The result? A brighter room and a more refined finish.
- Impressive Thermal Performance
Thanks to Sheerline’s multi-chamber aluminium design, these doors achieve:
- 1.4 W/m²K with double glazing
- 1.0 W/m²K with triple glazing
That means better heat retention, improved comfort, and lower energy bills.
- Serious Security
Security comes as standard, not as an upgrade.
- PAS 24 accredited
- 5-point locking system
- Double deadbolts
- Internal glazing beads
You get peace of mind without compromising style.
Balanced Aesthetics
Prestige bi-folds enable you to open up and transform your home. Providing that all important flexibility to enjoy your indoor and outdoor space as one. Combining the refined, architectural look of aluminium and the latest thermal and security technology, leaving you with beautifully balanced bi-folding doors. Custom designed single rollers eliminate the need for floating mullions ensuring that whatever your style of door, our bi-folds have consistent 138mm sightlines between sashes, creating our trademark balanced look.
Threshold Options for Every Property
Four threshold options all feature fully weather-sealed rebates that keep the worst of the British weather safely outside. These rebates also ensure doors aren’t over-centred during operation, helping locks to engage correctly. Our doors also feature clever concealed drainage, eliminating the need for unsightly drainage cover caps.
We offer four threshold styles to suit your needs:
- Low threshold – Ideal for easy access and improved accessibility
- Fully weathered threshold – Perfect for exposed locations
- Standard rebated threshold – Balanced performance and protection
- Flush threshold – Sleek and minimal aesthetic
Not sure which you need?
All in all an excellent job well done. The new bi-fold doors look really good!
Configurations
Up to 7 panes wide in a variety of styles. Depending on the layout of your room you can choose to have your doors split, left and right, or have them all sliding to one side. Think about Including a single ‘traffic’ door in your configuration, as it’s a great way to create an everyday entrance for when the weather’s not so good. Also available as single and French Doors.
Featuring Our Unique Thermal Technology
Clean, crisp lines on the outside hide away our innovative Thermlock® multi-chamber thermal design, helping keep you and your property well insulated against the worst of the UK weather. Their insulating chambers act as a thermal break and work in conjunction with high performance glazing to create class leading thermal performance, far superior to traditional polyamide thermal breaks.
Outstanding security built into every bi-fold
With 5-point locking and double deadbolts, every element of the Prestige bi-fold has been designed to keep you and your home secure. We also use full length security interlocks on appropriate styles to protect your home from would-be intruders. These bind the sashes tightly together if attacked.
Bespoke Winkhaus ‘Thunderbolt’ locking
French passive doors include an integral finger pull lock, eliminating the need for a second handle – continuing the clean, minimal Sheerline aesthetic. An innovative mishandling device also ensures doors are locked in the correct order.
Colour Options
12 standard colours in our hard wearing powder coated finish.
FIND MATCHING WINDOWS
We offer a wide range of complementary windows, designed around our core chassis to ensure everything matches perfectly, and performs to the same exacting standards.
