Are your sliding doors energy efficient?
Yes, all our sliding doors are thermally efficient and comply with current building regulations. They feature thermally broken aluminium profiles and high-performance double glazing with a centre pane U-value of 1.2 W/m²K as standard. The maximum overall U-value is 1.6 W/m²K, with many products offering even lower U-values.
What’s the difference between sliding and lift & slide?
Sliding doors move along the track in the usual way. Lift & slide doors lift slightly as you turn the handle, which can make very large panels feel lighter to open, then seals firmly when closed.
Can I have integral blinds?
Yes — built-in integral blinds can be specified for doors and windows with a suitable glazing cavity, providing neat shading and privacy.
