3 Ways Marlin work with architects and specifiers

1. Regular meetings and briefings ensure that architects are kept up-to-date with the latest technical, conformity and sustainability information – with a particular focus on just what can realistically be achieved with glazing.

The Architect

This project called for the highest quality manufacturing of the window systems and total precision installation in some very complex window surrounds.

The huge glazed units on the garden elevation were originally ‘multiple’ units, but the team at Marlin re-engineered the system and allowed units to be fitted that had no intermediate mullions, enabling maximum daylight input and interruption free views out.

The whole window system and Marlin’s performance exceeded all expectations!”

2. Marlin ensure specifiers have a comprehensive knowledge of all relevant technical issues enabling a project to proceed with confidence and the reassurance that all practical necessities are accounted for. This in turn leaves the architect to concentrate further on aesthetic considerations, freeing up the design process.

The Builder

Great quality products along with great customer service. Easy to recommend.

3. Thermal performance, sound reduction, light comfort, coloured glazing options, safety, fixings and fitting, tolerances, conformity and of course appearance potential are amongst the questions that Marlin provide expert answers on before the design brief is taken to the next stage.

The Owner

“Immediately impressed us with their knowledge and passion for the products they manufacture with attention to detail on the inside and outside.

They work hard to give the client the very best service and they are honest and straight forward to deal with. We are delighted that we chose to appoint Marlin Windows.”

“This system was specifically designed for a wheelchair access in and outside.
It’s so slim and so elegant that it gives us barely any step at all we are talking millimeters.”
