The Property:
A detached brick built house circa 1950 with a great opportunity to increase living space and modernise throughout.
The Requirement:
Slim, thermally efficient aluminium windows and doors were needed for this complete refurbishment project with a large two storey contemporary extension being constructed to the rear elevation.
The Solution:
Marlin’s high performance and secure Heritage aluminium window and Heritage door system was proposed throughout and supplied in a powder coated matt black finish.
Working closely with the developer and architect Marlin designed balanced and functional glazing schemes to best suit the new extended living areas whilst being sympathetic elsewhere to the period of the property.
Detailed consideration was given to finished floor levels to ensure that the door threshold in the large main screen was kept to a minimum.
