The Property:

A stunning contemporary new build private residence in Ilkley, West Yorkshire.

The Requirement:

To provide slim thermally efficient aluminium windows to the front and side elevations that would not detract from the smooth fine lines of new sawn stone work.

For the rear elevation, high quality sliding doors with narrow frames and slim meeting styles were required in order to maximise the stunning views across the Wharfe Valley towards The Cow and Calf rocks.

The Solution:

The Alitherm Heritage system is the ideal window solution to keep frame sight lines to a minimum and to blend perfectly with the new external stone work.

High performance Visoglide Plus sliding doors were specified for the rear elevation to maximise glass areas and ensure that stunning views were not compromised.

Dramatic glass facades at the rear of the property were created using our spectacular floor to ceiling MC 600 windows. The panoramic expanse of glass fills the property with light and adds a truly impressive architectural feature.

The Owners Reaction:

“immediately impressed us with their knowledge and passion for the products they manufacture with attention to detail on the inside and outside.

They work hard to give the client the very best service and they are honest and straight forward to deal with. We are delighted that we chose to appoint Marlin Windows.”
