Located in Bowness-on-Windermere this early 70’s property was subject to complete remodelling and extending including an additional top floor being added to take advantage of the views towards Lake Windermere

The Requirement

Thermally efficient aluminium glazing with modern frame work was necessary to compliment the overall style of the refurbishment plan. An extremely important detail was to create shaped windows with full height glass on the new top floor to provide uninterrupted views to the west

The Solution

Our EcoFutural window system ticked all the boxes for style and performance and allowed us to push the boundaries for the required large shaped glass areas whilst ensuring compliance to safety
