What Are Internal Heritage Doors (AluSpace)?
AluSpace internal aluminium doors, partitions and room dividers replicate the look of traditional steel doors indoors, using slim aluminium frames. With sightlines down to 33mm, they’re built to maximise natural light while creating sharp, architectural divisions between rooms, whether that’s a hinged single door, French doors, a sliding door, a fixed screen or a full partition wall.
Every one is a genuine steel look internal door, built in aluminium for a fraction of the price and upkeep of the real thing.

What Our Customers Say
Real experiences from homeowners who chose Marlin Windows for their projects.
★★★★★
“We used Marlin for windows and traditional Steel Replacement doors and screens on our recent self build project. Marlin are not local to us but provided an excellent service from quotation, advice, redesigns and with very detailed comms throughout. The windows and doors are the talking point of our entire build. Adrian from Marlin said that windows become the eyes of the house and I didn’t forget that – our eyes are simply stunning.” Would highly recommend.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will internal heritage doors reduce noise between rooms?
They can help, particularly when acoustic double glazing is specified. Single glazing is available for aesthetics, while double glazing improves sound insulation.
How long will my heritage internal doors take to make?
We can typically have new doors and partitions ready within 3-4 weeks for supply only, though lead times vary by season – please contact our team for a current estimate.
What information do you need for an accurate quotation?
Approximate dimensions (width x height), a basic design or layout, and your project location.
Are aluminium internal doors cheaper than steel?
Yes. Aluminium provides a similar appearance at a significantly lower cost than genuine steel systems, making them a popular modern alternative.
Are low thresholds available?
AluSpace doors are made with no door threshold at all, so your floor finish runs straight through between rooms. That gives a completely level, step-free transition, which is better for accessibility and gives a seamless look.
