Visofold 1000 Bi-fold doors are slide folding doors offering slim sightlines that are ideally suited to residential applications.
All profiles are extruded from 100% recycled aluminium billet and feature extended, chambered polyamide thermal breaks allowing Alitherm to achieve excellent thermal performance.

The latest upgrade to the Visofold 1000 bi-fold door features a range of enhancements that deliver significantly improved U-values. The system also features a new track insert (DV100), with the polyamide section simply clipping into the track.

New Outer Frame Options
With a choice of two new rebated outer frames (DV17 and DV19N), a new integrated cill, and the existing low threshold option, this latest upgrade also includes the introduction of a DV225 heritage style sash to the range, aligning with Smart’s established range of heritage windows and doors.

The Visofold 1000 upgrade also includes optional 70mm UN3570 and 82mm UN3582 hooded trickle vent sections, which provide integrated ventilation.
PAS Approved
As well as improvements to the frames and thermal performance, Visofold 1000’s hardware and accessories range also features a number of significant enhancements, including PAS 24 approval for the door’s standard roller, the addition of new, heavy duty shoot bolt handle and enhancements to the gearboxes.
Many thanks for supplying and installing my new bi-fold doors. The guys did an excellent job today removing my old doors and then installing my new bi-fold doors. They managed to get the old doors and frame out cleanly and then installed the new doors very neatly.
All in all an excellent job well done. The new bi-fold doors look really good!

The clever locking system of the Avocet ABS® diamond grade cylinder knows when it has been snap attacked and fires into action to create a robust barrier to entry. The patented Active Cam TechnologyTM is hidden deep within a solid Molybdenum cam which is 20% stronger than steel, and delivers ultimate resistance against a lock snapping attack and snap/twist manipulation. All of the snap technology is focused on the outside part of the lock only. This makes sure that maximum strength is given to the inner part of the lock – the part that has the job of securing your door.

How energy efficient are your windows & doors?
All of our products are very thermally efficient; they meet and exceed all current building regulations.
Our aluminium profiles are thermally broken and benefit from high performance double glazing with a centre pane U Value of 1.2 W/m2 as standard. The maximum overall U value of any of our products is 1.6 W/m2, with many of our door and window products offering even lower U Values.
